Investment 1.4 Services and digital citizenship 1.4.4 - Extension of the use of Digital Identity platforms - SPID and CIE - Public Administrations other than Municipalities and Educational Institutions - MAY 2022

The measure aims to promote the widespread adoption of the SPID (Public Digital Identity System) and CIE (Electronic Identity Card) digital identity platforms by public administrations, in order to facilitate citizens' access to online services in a safe and uniform way.

Purpose  of measure

This investment aims to standardize digital authentication methods, improving the efficiency and transparency of digital public services. The initiative is part of Mission 1 Component 1 of the PNRR, financed by the European Union through the NextGenerationEU initiative, and aims to promote greater digital inclusion, improve administrative efficiency and bring institutions closer to citizens through the use of innovative technologies.
